Sandy River Outdoor Adventures Sauna and Hot Tub Use Terms and Hold Harmless Statement

By signing the Sandy River Outdoor Adventures Accommodation Policy Agreement (“Accommodation Policy”), the undersigned guest (“User”) acknowledges and agrees to the following terms regarding the use of the sauna and hot tub facilities at Sandy River Outdoor Adventures (“SROA”):

1. Assumption of Risk:

The User acknowledges and understands that the use of the sauna and hot tub involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, heat-related illnesses, burns, dehydration, fainting, slipping, drowning, or other health-related conditions that may occur during or after use. The User voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks associated with the use of these facilities.

2. Waiver of Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the User waives, releases, and discharges Sandy River Outdoor Adventures, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or death arising out of or in any way related to the User’s use of the sauna and/or hot tub.

3. Hold Harmless:

The User agrees to hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Sandy River Outdoor Adventures, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) resulting from or in connection with the User’s use of the sauna and/or hot tub.

4. Health & Safety:

The User represents that they are in good health and have no medical conditions or limitations that would impair their ability to safely use the sauna or hot tub. The User understands that the use of these amenities may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to heart disease, respiratory issues, circulatory problems, pregnancy, or sensitivity to heat.
If the User has any health concerns, they agree to consult with a physician prior to use. The User agrees to follow all posted rules, safety signage, and any verbal or written instructions provided by SROA staff.

5. Rules and Regulations:

The User agrees to comply with all safety and usage guidelines, including but not limited to:

• No use of the sauna or hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  
• No glass containers in or around the sauna or hot tub area.
  
• Showering before use when required.
  
• Limiting time in the sauna or hot tub to recommended intervals.
  
• Respectful and safe behavior at all times.
  

Failure to comply with these guidelines or instructions from staff may result in immediate removal from the facilities without refund.

6. Age Confirmation:

By signing the Accommodation Policy Agreement, the User confirms that they are 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 are not permitted to use the sauna or hot tub unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian who has also agreed to these terms.

7. Governing Law:

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Sandy River Outdoor Adventures is located.

8. Severability:

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By signing the Sandy River Outdoor Adventures Accommodation Policy Agreement, the User acknowledges that they have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to these Sauna and Hot Tub Use Terms and Hold Harmless Statement.
